Ask Google "how to write a call to action", and you will get 2+ billion hits. Add "for your inner audience", and it drops to 40 million. A Call To Action rallies people to be purposeful for a cause through clever marketing and social hooks such as Subscribe Now, Like Us, Learn More engagements. Calls To Action also exist within our social relationships in the form of Could You, I Can't Find, Where Is narratives. We instantly respond. Yet when we ask ourselves what we want, our wants blend into these social networks, and we lose focus of the most important audience - The Audience Within.
K.B Lacey, author of fiction and nonfiction books, invites you into her story as a wife and mother as she recounts how a hectic schedule and unpleasant work environment pushed her to the edge of an emotional bridge. She realized she needed to change her story or lose everything. This chaos created her crucible for change and repositioned her life path forward through the discovery of a Personal Call To Action.
The Audience Within is a collection of relatable real-life stories from setting financial goals to the delegation of household chores. The author shares experiences of how commitments, empathy, obligations, expectations, goal-oriented achievement, career enhancement, and spiritual beliefs can trigger behaviours that disrupt connections with our inner audience. A self-help personal development memoir book with power.
In a comfortable coffee-shop writing style, the author walks us through how to re-engineer those negative influences and baseline our wants through an easy-to-follow Personal Call To Action framework.
The Audience Within aids in life navigation by creating a clear periscopic viewpoint of what's ahead with the focus on you and only you.
K.B.. Lacey is a Fiction and Non-Fiction writer and Children's Author of The Great-Galactic Dance Competition book series.
I have read the book, even though I am an older man, found it to be very interesting. The Author displays her emotions from a very young age in trying to decipher her future. Children tend to completely follow their elders and go along with their views whether it is right or wrong.
Sometimes the child does not know to say “no” to their parents or elders. The Author has put herself documenting and trying to carve out the stages of her life, her views on the world around her, thus arriving at her own destination- following her Personal Call to Action. She also mentions when you are job hunting, ask yourself: Would I be able to do it and am I capable of doing the job? or will the job suit me? Stop and Listen to the inner voice – which is THE AUDIENCE WITHIN and I am sure you will get the answer that you are looking for.
She also brings in family and friends and her relationships with them and their views of them trying to mold her. Being a mother, daughter, wife, sister and friend, the Author has directed the book in such a way, and at times I feel I wish I had something to guide me of this nature while I was growing up. A good book to read, slowly, and without disruption for you to get the actual facts of ‘THE AUDIENCE WITHIN”. Looking forward to her next book!! Good luck!!

Where do I start with the book – THE AUDIENCE WITHIN – so well documented. The Author has written this with her own personal experiences of childhood, teenage, adult and married life and has not held back in any way and this has developed her to achieve her goals. Her life challenges with the working world, her Faith, her Friends and how to deal with it and above all her statements – WHY DO YOU WANT IT, WHAT DO YOU WANT IT FOR AND DO YOU REALLY WANT IT?
As an adult reading this book, I wish someone had written this when I was growing up as I would have definitely changed my course of action and gone with what I REALLY wanted to do. I am successful now, but probably if I had listened to my Inner Voice and taken the challenge it would have been a different outcome!!
I hope that people reading this book, would go through it carefully and when you start to define yourself with the matter contained, you realize then what the book has to offer and go with the PCTA!!
Good luck and Great writing skills and await further books. Thank you.
